We Earned That Bed

We slept wonderfully peacefully — there’s something so good about being right in the middle of nature.

Bit of a shame that Gos’s sleeping mat is slowly deflating. Hopefully it’ll hold out a bit longer until the end… 🤞

Well, we decided we’ve definitely earned a real bed 🥳. Camping is great and all, but there’s no need to overdo it. A proper mattress, a hot shower, and a door that actually closes — pure luxury!

Well then — we’re in Scotland and haven’t even had whisky yet! So off to the bar — time for some guidance. Because yes, faced with a whole shelf full of different whiskies, we obviously can’t just pick one.

It turns into something wood-aged, about 15 years old or so… 😂🥳 We’ve already forgotten.

The taste is surprisingly approachable. Strong, definitely. But what really stands out is that wasabi-like sensation that suddenly shoots up your nose. Takes a moment to get used to — but hey, we tried it!
